Colossal Cookie Co.

Colossal Cookie Co. began by providing the ultimate treat to celebrate special moments. Over the span of a few years, the brand has transformed into a digital service recognized as the emerging top gifting company in North America. Driven by entrepreneurial spirit and insatiable cookie cravings, the CCC team sought to perfect and reimagine the ideal cookie.

As their target audience was changing, the brand was in need of an updated identity that felt more sophisticated and premium. At Certo Creative, I assisted with this rebrand process. We came up with an elegant solution that enriched the brand, while still keeping it fresh and young. 

—Logo
We developed a logo with 3 variations: symbol only, text only and symbol + text. This allows for fluid use of the logo, depending on the application (i.e. social vs. packaging). The 3 C's in the symbol version are wrapped around one another, almost like an alliance. The overall form of the symbol mimics that of a cookie once you've taken a bite out of it. 
—Packaging
The goal for the packaging pieces was to elevate what the brand already had to further reinforce their key messaging—creating special moments for customers. We chose to stick with black, white and gold as this colour palette gives off a premium and expensive look and feel. Pattern is integrated into some of the designs to bring in a playful element that still feels elegant and on-brand.
